CliFFord 'CliFFy' Karl langley
PARIS, - Clifford "Cliffy" Karl Langley, 64, passed away March 5, 2008, in
Paris, Idaho, where he loved to be, surrounded by his three children and Norma, his
teen-age sweetheart of 46 years. Born February 18, 1944, in Madera, California, he spent
most of his years in California, where he worked in the tire industry. He owned his own
tire and automatic business along with his wife, "Norclif Tires," when, in 1982,
he decided to move his family to a slowerpaced lifestyle, ending up in Paris, Idaho. He
then worked in the mines in Soda Springs until an accident at work forced him into early
Cliff made many friends along the way and was known to be a great mechanic, by the men
he carpooled and worked with, but most of all, he was a great mechanic and teacher to his
son and his friends and grandson and friends.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Norma Langley, Paris, Idaho; two daughters, Carla (Andy)
Tatum, Ogden, Utah, Cristie Langley, Blackfoot, Idaho; and one son, Dusty Langley,
Pocatello, Idaho; eight grandchildren with one on the way, and two great-grandchildren,
with one more on the way; and two sisters, Geneva (Oscar) Denham, Fowler, California, and
Louise (Bill) Chavers, McNiell, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008, at noon at the Matthews
Mortuary at 702 Clay Street, Montpelier, Idaho. Friends may call prior to service from 10
to 11:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Paris Cemetery.
