MONTPELIER - Lucille Minnie Perchetti Leissring Logsdon, 87, returned home to her Heavenly
Father at 11:30 p.m. on August 07, 2003 at the University Of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake
City, Utah. She was born in Lehi, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mary Amio Boot Perchetti. She had
two brothers and four sisters.
Lucille married Edward Otto Leissring in Montpelier on June 18, 1934. From this union four
children were born, Darleen Gail, Lucille Mary, Edward Joseph and Gary Cliffton. Lucille
had expressed many wonderful memories raising her family with her husband in different
locations in Wyoming, Utah and Nevada.
After the death of Edward, Lucille then went on to marry Mark T. Logsdon on June 7, 1969
in Georgetown, Idaho. They made their home in Pocatello and Montpelier.
Lucille loved to fish and hunt. She was also an excellent bowler. Two of her favorite
pastimes were gardening and reading.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a wonderful
wife and mother and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She is survived by her four children, Darleen (Earl) Wuthrich, Gary (Sandra) Leissring
both of Montpelier, Lucille (Don) Manos and Edward (Patricia) Leissring both of Inkom,
Idaho and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Edward O.
Leissring and Mark T. Logsdon, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 12, at noon at the Matthews Mortuary Chapel where
friends may call that morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will
be in the Montpelier City Cemetery.
