POCATELLO — Jack Wayne Hennings, 61, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2006, at the Portneuf
Medical Center in Pocatello. He was born April 12, 1945, to Elmer and Helen Woehler
Hennings in Laramie, Wyoming. When he was young the family moved to Georgetown, Idaho,
where Jack spent his early years. When he reached adulthood he moved to Chubbuck and lived
there, where he resided at the Pineridge Apartments for more than the last 10 years.
He loved stock car racing, coffee at Denny’s and country music. Jack never met a
stranger, and was a friend to all. He liked and talked to everyone.
Jack is survived by one brother, Donald (Marie) Hennings of Nounan, Idaho; three
sisters, Shirley (Bill) Richardson of Moses Lake, Washington, Darlene (Bob) McKee of
Pavillion, Wyoming, Bonnie (Roger) Garner of Pocatello; one sister-in-law, Gladys Hennings
of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother-inlaw, Paul Knutti of Montpelier, Idaho; and many nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Elmer and Helen, one brother,
Norman, and three sisters, Delores, Evelyn and Carol.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 12 at 11 a.m. in the Georgetown
Cemetery, with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
