Robert Price died peacefully September 3, 2007 at his home with family beside him. He was
89. Robert was born January 9, 1918 in Bloomington, Idaho to Joseph Stanners and Elizabeth
Reese Price. He was the sixth of 10 children and has always had a close and loving
relationship with his family. He met his eternal sweetheart, Dorthella Rollins, on New
Year's Eve and four months later, April 16, 1947, they were married in the Salt Lake
Temple. For most of their married life, Robert worked as a salesman at Utah Appliance and
Furniture in Provo. Robert had a love for music and made sure that it was part of his home
throughout his life. He sang with the Barbershop and Mendelssohn Choruses for many years.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Robert held various callings
throughout his life, including temple ordinance worker at the Provo Temple. He was
preceded in death by his parents, one brother and four sisters: Ivor Price, Violet Passey,

en Anderson, Mabel Walker, and Osma Humpherys. Robert is survived by brother and two
sisters: Jay Price (Marianna) of Las Vegas, Dora Larsen of Logan, Roene McKinnon of
Bountiful, his wife of 60 years, Dorthella Rollins Price; four children Paula (Arthur)
Noon, Payson, John (Louise) of Salt Lake, Connie (Brent) Foster of Provo, E Vincent
(JanEtta), Provo; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon on Friday, September 7, 2007,
at the Slate Canyon 3rd Ward Chapel 1498 East 800 South, Provo. Family and friends may
call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary at 85 East 300 South and again
one hour prior to the services on Friday at the Slate Canyon Chapel. Interment will be at
the Fairview, Utah Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
