Hello, Jennie (Stone) Green & husband Fred moved from Wisconsin to Sioux City, Iowa in July 1880 shortly after their marriage. I believe her parents may have also moved there at that time. Her parents were Isaac Washburn & Irene Stone .
Jennie gave birth to twin girls on Nov 28, 1881 and died early December. One of the twins died at birth but I do not know what happened to the other. I found Isaac Stone with wife, Susan on the Sioux City 1900 census. It would appear that either Irene and Susan are the same person, or Irene died and Susan is a second wife. Irene was shown as the same age as Isaac while Susan was 2 yrs younger. I cannot find Fred J. Stone in the 1900 census. He was born about 1860 in Wis and on 1880 census was a railroad fireman. Anyone have any information on this family? Any clues etc. are greatly appreciated. eileen
