There are two Jacob J. Clausens on the 1895 Iowa census, per Ancestry.com
Jacob Sr. was born about 1828 in Denmark and Jacob Jr. was born about 1863.
The elder Jacob's wife was listed as Maria C. and Jacob Jr.'s wife was
Martha J. Clausen. On the 1925 Iowa census, Jacob is listed as Jacob Jr.'s
father, as would be expected. Jacob's mother apparently used her middle
name Christinia (spelling?) as that is how she was listed by whoever
contributed the information for the 1925 census.
Both of the Jacobs apparently immigrated from Denmark. Perhaps someone else
can find the year or years for you.
On the 1925 census, Martha J. Case Clausen was listed as the mother of Jacob
Jr's child Dorothy. Martha was reported to be born in Clinton County, Iowa.

I am trying to identify the parents of my great grandfather, Jacob J.
Clausen, who lived in Duncombe, Iowa, and may have been born in 1862. He
immigrated from Denmark. I believe his wife's name was Martha (or Sarah)
Case. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
