Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Some of you remember I asked for volunteers back in January to help type the book "The History of Tama county" and the response was good. Thanks to all the volunteers who have really typed there fingers to the bone! I especially want to thank Sandra Blandford Wilkinson, Patty Delmott, Patty Headley and Linda Wines who never seen to get tired of typing and to George Garrettson who typed all of Chapter 10.
The book is not complete, but we have quite a few bios typed, so I have put it all up on the web site (except for the last two chapters). You will find pages and sentences that are not complete because that is where the page stopped and we probably haven't copied and typed the next page yet!
I have been trying to copy a whole chapter or two, instead of one bio at a time, so it is going to take some time to get to the higher pages, please be patient - we will get there!
I have noticed that there are quite a few names mentioned that are not in the biographical index. In the next few days (after the robots index the web site) try the search engine on the first page of the web site to see if the names you are looking for are in the book. Also the names are mentioned more often than just the page referred to.
Good Luck in your searching!

Tama County; he was living with his parents (father and step-mother) in Tama in
1920; MAY have been living in State Center, Marshall Co., IA on the 1930

Would appreciate any help. Thanks,
