I am seeking information on a Joseph M. Mead who was listed on the 1870 Story County, Collins, IA Census - Joseph is listed as 68 years old b NY and living in the home of John Mead, whom I believe is his son. His wife, Delight is not listed. I have not been able to locate them on a 1860 Census, so don't know when she may have died. Would like to be able to find date of death, place of burial for both Joseph and Delight.
Any information on this Mead family in Collins would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very kindly.
