Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Is there someone on this mail list who would be willing to look up an
obituary for me?
DANSKIN, Gilmour / Gilmore - died 8 February 1885. He is buried in Colo
Cemetery, New Albany, Story Co., IA.
I would be happy to compensate/return the favor for the lookup.

The only thing I can offer is that none of the daughters nor their husbands
have surviving grave markers in Story County. George and Adeline Pedler do
have markers in the county. If you need that information please contact me.

I'm looking for any information on two daughters of George and Adaline Pedlar. Lillie Pedlar married Herman L. Banks on 24 Mar 1872 in Story County and Carrie Pedlar married O.W. Applegate on 20 Jan 1878 also in Story County. As best I can read their father's will they were both around Story County in 1893. On the 1895 county census it shows the daughter of Carrie and O.W. ( Edie M. Applegate) living with her grandmother Ada Pedlar. I would appreciate any information regarding these two ladies. Thank you.
