I was in the Dresden Cemetery this summer and found a grave marked, BRANAN,
John, b 28 Aug 1835, d Dec 18 1903, His wife Etta b 1843, d 1921. Children
Charley Gilbert, and Ray, all died young. I'm trying to determine if this
John is related to Barbara Ann Phelps, who is also buried in the same
cemetery. My family I'm researching is BRANNAN, and I know that Barbara
was a Brannan before she married Phelps. I'm just questioning the John
Branan. Do he change his spelling or maybe a goof in the stone carver? If
anyone can help it would greatly be apprecaited.
Thanks very much
