Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I've found information on a cousin (Pamelia SIKES WORSLEY) from Red Oak that joined the DAR in 1890. Is there a current chapter in Red Oak or Montgomery Co. or where would the nearest chapter be? Could anyone provide me with an address for the nearest chapter?
The year 2005 brought a great deal of new family research, photographs, records,
obituaries, and newspaper articles to Montgomery County IAGenWeb
http://iagenweb.org/montgomery/ and our county boards. Toward the end of
October we hit a milestone of over 1000 pages of research information. By
December 31st the count had reached 1201 pages of research information! Without
the records and photo contributions from Montgomery County IAGenWeb volunteers
and contributors, this would not have been possible. A BIG THANK YOU goes to
all of the volunteers and contributors who have so generously given of their
time and records, for without you Montgomery County would not be the great
research asset it is today.
To see the new items added in December please visit the "What's New" Directory
http://iagenweb.org/montgomery/whatsnew.htm . You will notice the 2005 "What's
New" Directory has been moved back but linked to the 2006 page. December 2005 is
still listed on the 2006 page also and you still have easy direct access to all
that was added last year.
The year 2005 was a great year for Montgomery County IAGEN, but 2006 will be
