Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Peterson last known to be living in Onawa, Monona Co Iowa. I have a partial
obit from The Onawa Sentinel:
Clarence Frank Peterson, son of Lewis and Emma Peterson, was born November
25, 1906 at El Campo, Texas, and died March 11, 1962 at a Sioux City
hospital following a long illness. He was 55 years, three months and 16
Mr. Peterson was the second child in a family of three children. He came
with his parents to Stratford, Iowa as a young boy where he resided until
he began working for the railroad. he had worked as a telegrapher and depot
agent for the Chicago Northwestern railroad for the last 30 years. Because
of his work he was sent to many different towns in Iowa.
Mr. Peterson had spent the last 12 years in Mapleton, and prior to coming
to Mapleton he and his wife resided in Onawa for several years.
He was married to Mary Peterson on February 29, 1948 at Onawa. Mr. Peterson
was a member of the Church of Christ
That is where it ends. Any information would be helpful, there is a rumor
that a friend in Oregon is actually related to me through my great-uncle's
wife Mary Peterson I'm trying to figure out her maiden name and where they
are buried. Thank you.
