Subject: [IAMONONA] Monona county marriage records (before 1900)
Does anyone have Monona county marriage records before 1900? I need a
I am trying to find my great great grandmother - Anna Heesch - in
Monona County. She died in 2/26/1909 in Mapleton, went through the
undertaker in Danbury, then had the funeral held in Schleswig, Iowa with
burial following in Cooper Twp in Monona County. How could I find out
what cemetery she was buried at? The church records in Schleswig did
not say what cemetery - just the twp and the county records in Onawa did
not show it either. I live in South Carolina so I cannot get back to
walk through cemeteries. Any help would be appreciated.
