The 1925 census is on microfilm at the Historical Building in Des Moines.
I go there periodically and last time I happened to search the census' for
the first time. They have a genealogical library there and the information
for you to search is fabulous - they have county records, census records,
newspapers from all over the state, and much more. If you ever get the
chance to do some research there it is wonderful. There are a few rules:
you are not allowed to take anything but your notebook and pencils into the
library, they have lockers for everything else - you put $.50 in and then
it gets refunded when you leave. Also, they have microfilm copiers (2)
that you can make copies of microfilms at $.25 each and they have a regular
copy machine that costs $.25 a copy. If you plan a trip there and need
directions or anything please write back to me and I will help you out.
Good luck and have a great time in your research!
