I don't know about this particular family, but there's a lot of information
about Quakers on the web. They keep very detailed records, and if you have
any idea of which meeting they went to, you probably can find out a lot.
There are a couple of Quaker listserves, also, with people that are more
than willing to look up stuff for you. One is
<CAN-ONT-QUAKERS-L(a)rootsweb.com> if any of your family was ever in Canada.
I find the second one the most helpful. The Quakers got started in the
1600's, and as far as I can tell, the records are still available all the
way back. Every time someone moved, got married, left the faith, etc., it
was recorded, sometimes with comments about disciplinary action.
