Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Can someone who has access to Jones county records lookup the death and
burial of Catharine Smith? Catherine lived in Jackson twp, Jones County.
She died after 1900 and before 1910. She was born 25 Jan 1823 in
Scotland. She was the wife/widow of William Smith who died in 1898 and
is buried in Four Horn Cemetery. Her granddaughter Jessie Scully lived
with Catherine until her death.

According to the WPA Graveyard Records he died 10 may 1900 but he was
still alive according to the 1900 census report which was taken in
I am thinking that the 1900 is probably a typo.
