I am looking for a Peter Croft (Kroft) and his wife, Mary Beglin Croft
(Kroft). Peter came to America around 1851-1852. According to the 1900 census
he became was naturalized. Since he was living in Iowa City, Johnson County,
Iowa for a few years, I thought he might have gotten he papers submitted
there and possibly completed also. Has anyone every searched the
naturalization records at the court house? I wrote them and they said that
the records are not in good condition and that they would not look the
information up but it would be O.K. if someone else came and looked though
I was wondering if they had the years 1852 to around 1860 at the courthouse.
