Hi, Rob! I have studied women's fashions in an attempt to date and identify some of
my own photos. This photo has only a little information to go on, i.e. only the neckline
and hairstyle. No length of skirt or silhouette to go by. She strikes me as an Edwardian
woman, dating it to about 1905-1915, give or take a few years either way. The high neck
of the Victorian era is not seen here. Her hair is large, soft and spread out around her
face to support the large hats of the day. Think of old movies where women's
"bathing costumes" (swimsuits) consisted of a short dress with bloomers
