In 1880 the census showed a PATTIN L. Lewis (listedas being born in IA). (I
don't know if PATTIN is the First or last Name) - but census shows father as
being born in PA. The 9year old is listed as a grandson to Phenias L.
Carter & family.
The child's name is Lewis PATTIN in that census. On that particular page,
the surname was listed first, then the given name.
I find Sabinia with her family in the 1860 Ohio census.
Her name is spelled as Salina in the 1860 census, a common female name in
the 1850-1880's. That spelling was also used in the 1870 census where she
is found on printed page 17, Bloomfield Township, Clinton County, IA with
her father P L, mother Caroline, Silas, John, and Kate.
