I am looking for any information on my 3gr fr Hull Judson Doolittle. He lived in Vernon Springs, Ia., and was married to a "Josephine" from Ohio. They married 08 Dec 1856, in Vernon Springs.
They also adopted my 2gr fr Theodore Francis, who I have traced from NY to Missouri in 1859 and somehow got to Howard Co., Ia, and was adopted by 3gr- pr's in 1860. Would there be any paper work on the adoption in Vernon Springs, Ia? Or anything on HulL and Josephine's marriage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
