I'm hoping someone can help me clear up a mystery. There is a Hugh Campbell 69 years old, dying 1870 in Hickory Grove Cemetery. I believe this is my husband's 4th great grandfather. The Campbells came from Shelby Co, IN in 1854. Hugh was the patriarch that moved with his family.
I have found that Shelby Co, IN also has a burial plot and headstone for Hugh and his wife, Chaney.
Does anyone know if there are actual burial records for Hickory Grove Cemetery? Perhaps it might shed some light as to where Hugh is actually buried. I also thought I had a record of his wife, Chaney, being buried with him in Hickory Grove, but I can't seem to find that info now.
Thank you for your help.
Searching for information on the James John family; James born Sep 1836 Ohio; spouse Sarah b. 1849 Indiana; Allison Bradley John b. May 1888, and Martha A. born Feb. 1884. I have found them in census records but would like marriage and death records or anything pertaining to this family. James died before 1918. thanks to anyone who can help me. Sarah is the sister to my grandfather, her name was Sarah Morris. Joy Morris Miller

Did anyone ever volunteer for the transcription of the directory list for
New London? It looks as though I will have some available time after the
first part of May to contribute to this project.
Let me know if you can use the help...
