I know this is very busy time for all but perhaps someone could do a lookup
for me in the 1860 census. I am specifically looking for the listing for a
STEPHEN HOYT - page 115 - Mt. Pleasant Township - Henry County. Would really
like to know whatever information there is listed for him. Many thanks -
Could someone please do look up in the 1860 Federal census for STEPHEN HOYT -
Henry County - Mt. Pleasant Township - page 115 and tell me who in the
household is listed?
Also in the 1870 please lookup STEPHEN HOYT - Center Township - page 162 and
tell who is listed with him please.
I am trying to find out the correct ancestor or if they are one and the same.
With much appreciation - Ahlive
I have updated and expanded my webpage covering the wagon train captained by
Samuel EIKENBARY, that left the Henry - Des Moines counties area of Iowa in
March 1849, and arrived in the California gold country in August 1849. I've
included information on the people known for certain to have been on that
trip, plus a long list of people who might have been on the train. A number of
these 49ers later came to Oregon to settle. If you have any information or
questions, drop me a note.
