Spring Creek Cemetery is located in the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant
near the southern line of former section 3 of Union Twp, Des Moines
Entry can be made with the permission of the Plant Officials only..
The cemetery was copied in June and July of 1971 by Mrs Orville
Prill and Julius Hilleary, one of my "clan"..

The Iowa Army Ammunition Plant is near Middleton, Des Moines County,
IA, the county just east of Henry Co., IA.
First I suggest you post you query on the Des Moines County, IA

There is a web site for this plant at

of the side.
The site of the Iowa plant was acquired through original negotiation
beginning in 1940, and the construction contractors completed their work
at the end of February 1942. Employment has ranged
from a high of 12,000 in 1944 to a low of 923 in 1983."
