Rodger L. Brisso
Rodger L. Brisso, age 83, passed away Feb-
ruary 14, 2008, in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
He was born December 30, 1924, in Miller,
S. D., to Herbert and Irene Hunker Brisso.
Rodger served in the U. S. Marine Corps and
received a Purple Heart for his injuries. Rodger
has lived in Council Bluffs since 1954, and
worked as an Industrial Product Salesman. He
and wife, Joan Wood, were married on May
29, 1954, and she preceded her husband on
August 1, 2004.
Rodger is survived by his children, daughters,
Kathryn Koestner of Allen, Texas, Mrs. Matt
(Barbara) Walsh, of Council Bluffs; sons,
Michael and wife Judy, of Omaha, Neb.,
Mark and wife Wendy, of Aurora, Colo.,
Matthew and wife Lynn, of Cape Girardeau,
Mo., Rodger and wife Theresa, of St. Char-
les, Mo; 18 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild;
brother Robert, of Salem, Ore.; sister, Elaine
Diesing, of Omaha; nieces and nephews.
Wake service, Monday 6 p. m. at Holy
Family Church. Mass of Christian Burial,
Tuesday, 11 a. m., also at the church Lun-
cheon will follow. Family suggest memo-
rials to Holy Family. Military rites tendered
by America Legion Post # 2.
