My name is Crispin and I'm new to the list. I would like some help
with the Vessell family that lived in Harrison County between 1870-1910. The
names of the family members are:
Harriett Vessell (Mother and Widow)- all I know is that she died in 1905 in
Missouri Valley, Iowa
Emily J. Vessell (Daughter to Harriett)- married to Jacob Schultz in 1875
died in Loveland, Iowa
Cora B. Vessell (Daughter to Harriett)- married to Dell Smith in Coucil
John C. Vessell (Son to Harriett) - Servant to a family in Rockford Twp.
Cara Vessell (Daugter to Harriett)- I have no information on her.
I believe that Harriett and family moved out to Iowa from Fayette County GA
about 1870, due to Harriett's husband Thomas being killed in Richmond VA. If
you have any information on this family that could help me or if you have
some of these families children I would be forever in your debt, not to
mention I will return the favor if you need GA research assistance.
