The Eldora Public Library has a good selection of microfilms of the Hardin County
Census, etc. I am not aware of anything on line. I will not be able to do any
checking there for a couple of months because of planned travel. Contact me later
if you have no other possibility.

If there is anyone who has access to the Iowa censuses, I am attempting
to research Caroline Marie Peterson who was born September 20, 1918 near
Alden in Hardin County. I have attempted purchasing a copy of her
birth certificate but no record was found. Her parents were Pete and
Millie Peterson so a check on their names in the census for that area at
that time period would be greatly appreciated.
Just received this (Below) and am passing the information on for those who
may be interested.
