I've "rescued" an old photograph of Harold DENNEY which was taken at the I.
M. Askren Studio in Casey, IA. The photograph appears to have been taken in
the 1890's or early 1900's with Harold just an infant at the time it was
taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following
information regarding Harold and his family:
James Harold DENNEY was b. 5 May 1900 in Thompson Township, Guthrie Co., IA
to parents John Timothy DENNEY (1860-1943) and Nettie or Netta DUNN
(1863-1938). Harold was one of four children born to this couple including,
Myrtle; Raymond Aldon; Edith Blanch; and James Harold DENNEY all born
between 1891 and 1896. Harold married Lucille BEVERIDGE (1906-1995) and
they had three children including Duane and Carol DENNEY or DENNY in 1931
and 1934. Harold died 12 Jul 1991 in Portland, OR.

Welcome to June and Summertime! It's time to get out and enjoy the weather in between rain drops! The Midwest has certainly had more than it's share of wet weather, but at least the temps have been comfortable.
