Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
The family of Edwin McAffee 1845-1915 arrived in Exira, Audubon, IA via
the railroad in 1872. They were early settlers there. By at lease 1912
the family lived in Estherville.

Edna Jane, daughter, 1877-1923, later mover to Canada
Herbert, son, 1879-1899
Leslie Alexander, son, 1881-1945
Elma, daughter, 1886-1915
Many are buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Willis was a brakeman for the
railroad and Leslie was a conductor.
Willis married Alice Maud Gerard in 1897. After Willis death in 1939
the family struggled and around 1950 the sons moved to Wyoming. Alice
lived in Estherville until her death in 1964. By this time their
children were in the Washington DC area, Seattle, WA, Illinois and
