Married on Wednesday
Miss Emma Malnburg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Malnburg, was married at 4
o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of her parents, 701 Prospect st., the
groom being Mr. Frank O. Lindgren, a prosperous young farmer near Essex. The
ceremony was by Rev. O.P. Eklund, of Des Moines, a brother in law of the
bride, Rev. Stromberg of Essex, assisting. The rooms were handsomely adorned
with flowers and the ceremony was under a floral arch of evergreen, flowers
and smilax. The number of guests was large and a wedding supper of 150 plates
was served. Among those present from a distance were the following from
Essex: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miller, Mr. and Mrs. L Jonnson, Mr. and Mrs. L.M.
Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kempe, Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Gladd, Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Johnson, Mr. and
Mrs. G.F. Johnson, Rev. and Mrs. Stromberg, Miss Anna and Oscar Freeman, Emil
and Chas. Sunberg, Miss Nora and Arnold and Joseph Johnson, Miss Alma and
Aaron Anderson, Miss Anna and Erick and Edw. Lindgren. There were present
also Mrs. C.P. Eklund, sister of the bride, from Des Moines , and Mrs. Aaron
Peterson, from Omaha. The young couple will be at home to their friends after
May 1 at Essex, where the good wishes of The Sun and a host of acquaintances
follow them.
