Capt. Marion O. Reiff
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Born in Wells county, Ind., March 10, 1890. Son of Hannah and Manson Reiff.
Wife, nee Clara Luberger. Graduated from Culver Military Academy, 1915.
Volunteered June 19, 1916. Co. D, 1st Indiana Infantry. Service on Mexican
Border, 1916. Officers' Training Camp, Fort Benjamin Harrison and Camp Travis.
165th Dep. Brigade. Later Camp Grant, Inf. Rep.

__Marion O. Reiff.
__Marion O. Reiff, 64, employe of General Foods Corporation and a Cedar Rapids
resident at 1848 Third ave. SE more than 25 years, until he moved to Indiana,
died last Sunday at Bluffton, Ind. An invalid the last 11 years, Mr. Reiff was
a World war I veteran and served as major in the army reserve. He was a member
of the Scottish Rite at Cedar Rapids and a 32nd degree Mason. A daughter, Mrs.
Marion Battin of Fort Wayne, Ind., survives. He was married in 1918 to Clara
Luberger, who died in 1955.
__Burial: Six Mile cemetery near Bluffton, where the American Legion conducted
graveside services.
