I have some indication that my LEMSTER and, possibly, WITNER ancestors were in Crawford County in late 1800's and possibly into the early 1900's before moving back to Porter County, Indiana. It is also possible that one or more of them ran a meat business or butcher shop. My grandmother, Katherine (some have her spelled Catherine) Marie Magdeline LEMSTER may have been born in that area in Jan 1890. Does anyone have any data that can help pinpoint where they were and where she was born?
