John W. DETERING was living in Vancouver, WA at 1570 Grant Street in 1918

I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful group
of old photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a
member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
The Fourth of July holiday is almost here! For most of us, that means a cookout, fireworks and another day or two that we don’t have to go to work. However, what this holiday is really about is that this day commemorates our independence from Great Britain back in 1776.
Exercise your independence this year by becoming an IAGenWeb county coordinator .and experience the satisfaction of bringing IAGenWeb to appreciative genealogists everywhere. New coordinators are needed for JONES, JACKSON, SAC, IDA, CARROLL, GREENE, LYON, ADAMS, POTTAWATTAMIE, EMMET, & MAHASKA counties. For more information contact the Welcome Hosts at welcome_to_iagenweb(a)iagenweb.org .
