Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

Glen A. Blunt
MASON CITY - Glen A. Blunt, 97, of 16251 245th St., died Sunday (July 16,
2006) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N.
Pennsylvania Ave., with the Rev. James Magelssen officiating. Interment will
be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Major Erickson Funeral Home,
111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., and continue one hour prior to services at the

Glen was born Dec. 25, 1908, in Rudd, the son of Edwin and Carrie
(Gustafson) Blunt. He married Evelyn S. Mortenson Nov. 4, 1934, in Mason
City. Glen worked many years as a typesetter for newspapers and job printing
companies in Mason City, St. Louis, Mo., and Des Moines.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a 70-year member of the
Glen is survived by two daughters, Constance Nelson and husband, Darrell, of
Bloomington, Minn., and Deanna Roen and husband, Kenneth, of Prescott, Wis.;
eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law,
Harold and Dolly Schipper, of Mason City; many nieces, nephews, cousins and
caring neighbors and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn, in 2001; five brothers, and

I found them in census 1885, then 1900, I find Charlotte 70, living Eugene
Hubbard home, with her daughter Polly as wife of Eugene. From these records
it appears Polly Turner was married to a Clark as there are 2 young children
with name of Violet and Lynn Clark.
