Is there any place on line that has the divorces for Buchanan County
in the early 1900s? The newspapers don't seem to list most divorces.
I have not found a marriage for after 1920 for one of this man's
wives. With this wife, he did pass away. This man was married 4
times and I believe 2 of the marriages ended up with divorces as I
found wife #2 buried, with her first marriage surname.
I am looking for divorces for Flavel HARRIS. He lived in the Jesup
area. He was married to:
1. Lydia Prentice in 1867 in MA. She passed away.
2. Mary (aka Mame) Appa (nee Bromley) MONTY-MONTEY. Her first husband
passed away in 1899 and she married Flavel in 1903. She died in 1933
with the surname MONTY.
3. Abbie-Abbey (maiden name unknown). She had been married to a Mr.
Loveland before Flavel. They were married in 1913.
4. Julia A. (nee Barnes) Worden. She married Flavel 1918. Flavel
passed away in 1920.
I am looking for divorces between Mary Appa and Abbie. Also to see if
Julia remarried. Julia would be in her late 70s when Flavel died. I

find a burial under Harris for Abbie, either.
Thanks for any help you can give with this matter. I have checked the
old newspapers on line with all the different surnames and came up
