Hello, I am new to the list and looking for descendants of William
BARRY. William (born in Ireland in 1846) came from England in 1867 with
his widower older brother Thomas BARRY (1842-1903) and Thomas's sons
Thomas and Jack. William married Mary LOUGHLIN (born July, 1855 in NJ,
to James and Mary Loughlin) in Benton Wisconsin, where William Barry was
a miner. In the mid1880's, they took up farming near Independence,
Iowa. All of the BARRY's eventually ended up farming in various places
within Iowa, including William's parents, James BARRY and Catharine
CONDON BARRY, who are buried near their son Thomas and their daughter
Catharine BARRY KELLY in a cemetery several miles south of Waterloo.
William and Mary had eight children, although only five survived to
adulthood. The children were:
Catharine Dec, 1879 (WI)
John Apr, 1880 (WI)
Clara Nov, 1884 (WI)
Mary June, 1887 (IA)
Loretta July, 1894 (IA)
Sometime between 1900 and 1910 Catharine married Charles M. Fuller (born
1880, in Iowa). Charles' father and mother were born in NY and CT,
I would like to know more about these children and their descendants,
and maybe find some cousins.

Seek information on Thomas RYAN, son of Phillip and Margaret RYAN. He was a
native of the village of Gleninchnaveigh, Parish of Upper Church, County
Tipperary, Ireland. He and his brother Dennis emigrated to the United States
about 1847, settling first in Onondaga County. In 1866 Thomas and Dennis
resided in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, and Baraboo, Sauk County,
Thomas moved on to Iowa, where we believe he lived in Lawler, Chickasaw
County, Clinton, Clinton County, and Independence, Buchanan County.
He apparently died before 24 December 1906, when his brother Dennis died in
West Point, Columbia County, Wisconsin. Among those who attended the funeral
in Sauk City, Wisconsin, were Dennis and Edward RYAN of Independence, Iowa.
Thomas also had a granddaughter, Katie McKEEVER who married a WALKER. They
had two daughters: Mary E. and Edna F. WALKER.
I have been researching the RYAN family for 12 years and have a lot of
information I would be happy to share with descendants of these people.
