Patricia, in the 1856 Iowa Census of Benton Co. it lists Sarah Collicutt,
41, widowed with 7 children in Taylor twp. and William Collicutt, 46 and
wife Levina, 45 with 9 children in Harrison twp. I can provide names of
children as well. Also in the 1872 plat of Benton Co. there is a variation
in the spelling Callicot or Callicutt in Taylor and Harrison twp. There are
six listed as owning land. If you want more details let me know.

Patricia, the book is the 1897 Belle Plaine, Benton Co. Biographical
Directory, not 1870, and only names residents of Belle Plaine rather than
other townships in Benton County. Checking the book, there are no
Collicotts listed. Sorry I can't help. Good luck in your search.
