Ida M. Brown is with her uncle, Henry J. Brown (and his wife, Martha) in the 1880 census. Who is Ida M. Brown's folks? According to the 1880 census, she was 14 so would've been born about 1866 (give or take). Says that she was born in Iowa so wondering if SKS could look in the 1870 (Iowa) Federal census enumeration for Ida M. Brown, abt. 6 yrs. old. I do not know what county, sorry.
Is there someone on this list living in the Vinton area who would be willing to look for a death record for an Albert R. Goodwin, who I believe passed away sometime between late1895 and before 1900? Albert's parents were Ferris Goodwin and Sophia (nee Brown) Goodwin Pitts. According to his Albert's marriage record of 1891, he was born in 1870. The 1870 census enumeration for Benton County also lists his age @ 0/12.
Thanks everybody. Unfortunately, this isn't 'my' guy. There's a likelihood
he died prior to the 1900 census then unless I get something that indicates
he left IA I guess. He was married in 1891 (@ age 21) but by the 1900
census, she was married to another man. In the 1895 state census, Albert is
still with his wife so had to die or divorce within a couple of years of
that state census. You've all been a great help.

Good Morning -
Would SKS please look in the 1900 Benton County Census enumeration for a man named Albert R. Goodwin, born abt. late 1869 or 1870 in IA. He'd be listed, doin' the math, abt 31 or 32 years old. If anyone might have privvy to death records of that era, please look there for a death after 1895 and before 1900. Any help of Albert's whereabouts between those years would be much appreciated.
