Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Last week I down loaded some pictures on the Benton County web-site. As of today, they
are still not on the site. Is there a delay from when the pictures are down loaded and when
they are posted? The pictures were in JPG format.

I want to let everyone know that Iowa GenWeb has started a new project called
the IAGenWeb Gravestone Photo Project. The mission of this project is to
capture digital images of gravestones of our ancestors. The site is set up so
you can do searches and also submit your own photos.
To see Benton county gravestones go to:
or the main page for the project at: http://iagenweb.org/grave/
You can click on the tabs near the top of the page to do searches or submit
your own gravestone pictures.
I am the administrator for Benton county gravestone pictures. I have already
submitted some of my own pictures which you can use as samples of what the
submissions look like.
