Can anybody tell me if there were a Loyd family, Thompson family
Frost family with this group from East TN/SW VA that settled in Appanoose
My great grandfather was Thomas M Loyd who moved to Davis, then Appanoose
that time with a very large group of people. In a short family
history passed around at reunions held about 50 years ago there is reference
to a Granddaddy CLARK's orchard where one of the Loyd daughters was buried
in VA or TN. There is also an Albert Thompson family who came in the 1840s
from VA as well as a Jesse Frost from VA about the same time and I suspect
they all came to IA together.
Thanks, Kay in CA
