I realize that your post is old, but I so hope that you are still willing to
do lookups. I am in search of a William A. Davis b. 9 Feb 1841 d. 6 Jan 1911
in Dunlap, IA. He is buried in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Dunlap (Harrison
County) and the VFW has placed a marker next to his grave to indicate that
he is a veteran circa 1861-1865. Is this correct or am I chasing ghosts?
