I am trying to locate the pension records of my GG grandfather, Elbridge
Dickey Patterson (10th Iowa, co I). I have his enlistment documents from the
national archives, but they say his pension records are in the hands of the
VA. I have gotten no where with them.
He enlisted in Powsheik county IA and lived there until about 1880. If
anyone has any ideas I would appreciate them.
