Hi Jill,
I am no expert on places in Wales but I went to Genuki and found the
Tabernacle baptist in MT and it gives the Os ref as SO 04750667.
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/GLA/MerthyrTydfil/#ChurchRecords
Now comes the speculation, On old maps, I have looked at MT and going to the
larger map and scrolling down I find Tabernacle cottage, this is in
Cae-pant-twylt, stay with me:-) Now just below there you will find Bryants
field. Could this be the place?
Now I am sure this will cause some more answers, if there is anyone around.
I am prepared to be shot down in flames by someone in the know.
Regards
Jean

Subject: [GLA] Caebryant, Merthyr Tydfil?
Hi Listers,
Does anyone know where Tabernacle Baptist Chapel, Caebryant, Merthyr
Tydfil
is/was please? Where is Caebryant, itself - I cannot find it nor read
about
it. This is given as a place name for a marriage in July 1873.
BTW have spent some time looking at Alan and George's site but cannot find
this place. Google cannot find it nor can old-maps. So, I am asking the
Glamorgan Mailing List.;-))
Many thanks, Jill
