My best effort at the translation is:
Life is but a moment - and worthless
Are the days of our life
Our morbid journey is also
To the home of the grave while entering the world.
Hafiach can arguably be 'sick' 'illness' etc assuming that the word is
'afiach' with the 'h' added because of the preceding 'ein'.
Best of luck
Tommy

Pwnc/Subject: [GLA] Translation
Dear Listers,
Please could someone translate the following graveyard inscription:
Einioes nid yw ond ennyd-a diddim
Yw dyddiau ein bywyd
Ein hafiach daith sydd hefyd
I dy'r bedd wrth ddod i'r byd
Llwvbr (not sure if this word is relevant!)
I have tried to translate it myself using the Graveyard Welsh from Gareth's
help page but I have only managed a few words.
Jo
