Thank you for finding them for me. Ada R. Elkington and Ann Elkington are
mother and daughter. Whether her mother got the job for her because she was
already working there, is not known but they worked in the same household,
possibly so that her mother could keep an eye on her 14 year old daughter.
Certainly the younger children where with Ann Richards formerly Stanford,
her mother at 68 Greenfield Terrace whilst her daughter worked. This is great
because it confirms family legend that the females all had to go into
service because father had run away.
The older girl, Elizabeth Ann aged 16, had the position as Llandough castle
as you also found for me.
