I've found Ancestral Quest to be the best 'keeper of my ancestors' that
I've used yet. There's also a list on Yahoo! With lots of folks and
real people who work on the program to help with support. Just a
suggestion if you're planning on scrapping the whole FTM program due to
frustration. You can make your file into a GEDCOM and transfer it right
into AQ.

Sue,
Has anyone given you the free trial telephone number? I think I would
access that and complain to them and tell them what you have just said.
Cheers Jill

CherieLynn,
Many thanks for numbers and contacts for Ancestry .
I have tried all and failed to get a sensible answer .
AS its only part of £6 have lost think I will retire from the battle but
would never get invoved with a large subscription they are nearly as bad
as
Tiscali with customer support.
Cheers
Sue in LLANTRISANT.

Dear Sue: I usually have what help I need, but recently have
discovered
that my new Family Tree Maker made to use with
Ancestry.com has "many"
problems and did get through once and told that they would e-mail me
with in
the hour on how to uninstall the new version and reinstall my old as
well as
a possible fix for the new version. Well I got no e-mail and feel almost
as
if I have been flagged not to answer as I can't get through to anyone
with
an answer.
Here is the phone number that I have Ancestry 801-705-7000, the
customer
service number is an 800 so probably no good to you. but the "parent"?
company MyFamily.com's number is same 801 number above.
My new FTM won't make banner trees, mess up the PDF's and books and
trying
to send along to share, it leaves out entire families. I looked at the
blogs
and seems many people have had probs with this and with other things
lately.
I hope you find a solution to your problem -- I shouldn't have unloaded
mine. But Good luck, Cherie Lynn
