I would like to say a really big thank you to Ruth,Judy, and Jane for finding
maps current and 1890 for the location I was looking for, and censuses from
1841 to 1901. And it wasn't even in Glamorgan.
This is a very remarkable list. Thank You.
Jeff
Hi Jeff and Listers
I am posting this to the List so that other Listers need not look for this,
as I have found the address you want - Kewsland - in every census from 1861
to 1901, and I am about to send you the details and the page images.
However, in all of these censuses, the name of the cottages is spelled
"Cuesland".
If you do a Google search for Cuesland, you will get two sites returned,
that will give you the occupants of the property in 1851 - as I don't have
access to the 1851 census for Devon.
And a note for Judy:
This is indeed in the Parish of Bishop's Tawton (near Barnstaple).
Regards
Ruth Curtis

If there is anyone on the list who has Devon census 'as enumerated' for any
19th century date who could help find the occupiers of a specific dwelling
in the parish of Bishop's Tawton, could they contact me off list.
