Hi Jill, (and John),
There is a photograph of Jerusalem Penrhiwceiber, taken in 1986, on page 31
of 'Chapels of the Cynon Valley' by Alan Vernon Jones.
I sometimes bump into Alan at Wayne's the hairdresser in town. If I should
happen to see him, I'll ask for his permission to scan the photo and send it
to you.

Many thanks for your help over this John. No go trying then, unless
someone
somewhere has a copy of the postcard.
Thank you John
Best wishes,
Jill

Is it at all possible that one of you has a digital camera and lives in
the
area of Penrhiwceiber and could take a photograph of this chapel please?
Jerusalem Bethel Chapel-Penrhiwceiber I have a copy of this from one of
our
Listers, but I don't think I can use this as it is copyrighted Glamorgan
Record Office.

Dear Jill,
I visited Penrhiwceibr in February 1999, hoping to photograph Jerusalem
Baptist Chapel, but the chapel had been demolished. Two local people told
me
it was knocked down about 4 years earlier (circa 1994/95). The site in
1999
was just wasteland, so I didn't take any pictures.
Kind regards,
John
