Hi Denis
My sister-in law is interested in the Samuel family as her mother was the
illegitimate daughter of a Mabel Samuel from Morganstown (not too far from
Whitchurch I believe). Mabel was engaged to a schoolteacher, Thomas
Goodacre who taught in Morganstown Jnr School. Unfortunately when Mabel got
pregnant Thomas left her and the baby was fostered out by a local family
named Morgan. I don't have too much information about Mabel's family but if
you do find a connection I would be interested to hear from you.
Best Wishes
Eirwen
