I admit when writing the last post on Wills that although it helped those
who were able to research in the UK it wasn't too much help for those
outside the UK. I should have added that the wonderful LDS have filmed the
Wills Index and so it is a good idea to ask your local LDS Library what
years they have, or order the years you want. With these details you can
then order the wills as UK residents can, I feel sure. Possibly best to
check with the Probate Office in York, [address in last message] to see what
they require. I have simply used the date of death, person and last know
address in the past, but I know that they require a search fee these days.
