I apologize for not replying to the list. Irene had identified Taliesen
by regimental number 166363. I was able to send her the medal card
image and also was able to find his WWI army record (7 pages) which I
forwarded to her. The army record was not correctly indexed with regard
to regimental number, but the record did have that number on it.
Taliesen was from Tonypandy, a plasterer, who was called up and
ultimately served in France with the Royal Garrison Artillery who
handled the large calibre guns.
